over-protected

I need to make mistakes just to learn who I am
And I don't wanna be so damn protected

God, I need some answers

sometimes i cant stand my parents being so damn protective. i want to live by myself on my own with my friends or smth... its sickening to be so sheltered all the time.. cant have my own freedom, even if i do ask, permission is not granted... they keep me too safe.. i want to be able to go out and experience things on my own as well.. they think they're doing good by protecting me like that. but i know one day it will surely backfire
