i did my oral presentation tdy. topic was something like feminism, basically abt girly steorotypes and pink girl toys and barbie and lara croft. as well stuff on why so many women now hate to be associated with the word feminsm. they think its a dirty word and so wanna stay away from it. like feminists are old, ugly,hairy narrow-minded, man-hating, bra-burning spinsters with nothing better to do.

how can we even move on if females themselves dont even support the movement? its funny how some women say yea, we want equality and this and that and this and that but yet they dont even wanna acknowledge feminism. fox tv family channel in america recently established two seperate channels for boys and girls. very appropriately named the BOYZ channel and GIRLZ channel respectively, this is what u can expect from them.

BOYZ channel:full of action-packed combat
GIRLZ channel:weepier, soapier, and more connected with "relationships".

this is what the crazy CEO of the channel said:
"there are clearly certain types of entertainment that boys hate and girls love, and it's positive to have something that recognizes the difference." -- which is obviously a whole lot of utter bullshit.

The last thing we need going into the 21st Century is a TV world populated with strong and violent boys balanced by weak, looks-obsessed, dependent girls.

this is such a huge step backward in time. as long as nothing's done about it, girls will continue to be taught and will be obliged to act girly, whilst boys will be trained to see everything as a conquest.

doesnt anyone get it? its ok for a guy to wear pink, and a girl to play with transformers.
