the day after
i went to my friend's place last night and romi cooked jap food while fadzly cooked currry. and i ..erm. just ate.
well it so happens that romi made really good sushi-like do-it-yourself-food whilst fadzly made hot spicy curry that he didnt like. hahah.
kitchen madness
all of us were such klutzs in the kitchen! fadzly didnt know what kinda meat to grab so he randomly picked the tender cut beef which he eventually had to cut into further smaller pieces.. his curry was on heat for about an hour or so.. and it seemed pretty dry.. heh but it did turn out alright in the end... well u see.. part of why it turned out alright was mostly because he used one of those ready-made sachets..hhhaa. i helped out by plucking the veggies..which i later realized was kang kong- it was my fave veg but i only recognise it when its cooked u see. fadzly didnt know either, he just grabbed a random stack of vegetables cos he said he was going to need them.
delicious diy sushi
romi cut brocolli into really small pieces, fried scrambled eggs into really small strips, crabmeat+japanese mayoniese, fried salmon...and there was sushi wrapper and ordinary rice (no we couldnt find the sticky one). so basically, what im trying to say is that she cooked all these stuff and then we had to wrap it up to make our own sushi-thing(theres another name for it but i dont know what its called). the end product was something like a flower wrapper...think californian roll.
yep fadzly's place is right down town! urgh. no fair.
off to greener pastures

took photos with her class but it was with her cam so i dont have the photos yet.. later went to agora for some little lunch. had wedges hot choc sushi and wasabei and chips(pretty much the food in aust)...
