hello. the public transport here is quite so expensive and the buses dont run as frequently as they do in spore!!! yeaa...i complain and complain..but this i must say! they run on timetables- as do all other buses arnd the world,
however, the timetable is the bibleof public transport in melbourne.
the bus i take from a station to school runs every half an hour on normal days, and do not work at all on saturdays and sundays. they are currently on their christmas/summer holiday (as they so like to call it, even though most of the melbourne population are already back at work). and thus the buses only come every 40 mins.
strange huh.
oh. but other quirks i like- people say thank you to the driver when they get off, and its the norm, unlike in spore where people couldn't give a damn. it's really important and i begin to see things in a different perspective now.
