strum me some sexyback.

its funny how things move around in threes
three fat mice
three wise man
three something something
haha. ok i cant think of the third three.
when i was younger my sisters (we make three; whee.) and i use to put soap on the toilet floor and skate around on the bathroom tiles. pretending to be world class figure skaters. at our grandma's house there were brown parquet tiles, and a couple of cousins plus us would sprinkle johnson's baby powder on the floor and glide away. SO FUN. then we would all stand on her queen size bed and pretend to be fishermen (and women); we would drop imaginary fishing rods, and catch imaginary fish, slice imaginary prawns and sell them to imaginary customers. all onboard the ship that was our grandmother's bed. just outside the window, beside the bed, were pigeons that waited for us to drop slices of unwanted bread that our grandma promptly chopped off and placed into an empty blue and red gardenia bread bag for us to aid our feeding frenzy.
you know how guys like to serenade girls and then get so fussed up about getting the song or the lyrics right; i say, just play away. i think a nerdy guy with a broken guitar and a bad voice is so much more appealing then a hawt guy with a shiny guitar and a oohlookatmesing voice. the answer must be in the attempt!
because i am nice and i like to share nice songs with you, here are the chords for i will follow you into the dark! by death cab for a cutie. (play youtube video in previous post below for heartbreaking lovestory)
guys, quick go pick up the guitar, wear your glasses, act nerdy and play haphazardly and i guarantee you your damsels will swoon lovingly with utter gorgeousness.

Love of mine, someday you will die,

But I will be close behind,

I'll follow you into the dark.

No blinding light, or tunnels to gates of white,

Just our hands clasped so tight,

Waiting for the hint of a spark.

If heaven and hell decide that they both are satisfied,

Illuminate the no's on their vacancy signs,

if there's no-one beside you when your soul embarks,

I will follow you into the dark.

I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black.

I held my tongue, as she told me "Son, fear is the heart of love"

So i never went back.

You and me have seen everything to see,

From Bangkok to Calgary,

And the soles of your shoes,

Are all worn down, the time for sleep is now,

But it's nothing to cry about,

'Cause we'll hold each other soon

In the blackest of rooms.
