george bush and naked dancers
hey i went downtown today, shopping w romi. got a 2 tops and a little purse-like pouch from myer. yay am pretty happy. george bush is coming to australia and there were pple on the streets distributing pamphlets for rallys they were gonna organise.. i got handed one and it read:" a killer is coming to australia" waah. scary.. did they have to put it that way.. well actually george bush is a killer. but the question is whether he's a good killer or a bad killer. then again killers cannot be good because they kill. and killing is not a good thing.
so they're gonna rally against him and hold protests and all and it'd be interesting to see how it'd turn out.. havent seen no demonstration before, since having lived in sheltered spore all my life.
and now for the dancers.
and romi went to watch some theatre arts thing yesterday and i asked her what kinda performance it was and she was like.. ooh it was some sorta dance.. not classical ballet or anything...the dancers were naked. like totally naked. top to bottom. no clothes nothing. barenaked. (*sing jennlovehewitt's song)yea u get the picture.
well it might be really normal for some i know but like to a sporean, to me at least, its just not something u'd expect... its sorta like porn in the name of art? ah well whatever. its supposed to have a certain artistic appeal to it. whats so artistic abt a naked human being? modern society has exploited nakedness so much it doesnt seem all that artistic any longer.
i wonder if the auidence in the show were there to genuinely appreciate the artistic beauty of the naked dancers or to use this as an excuse to indulge in some legal porn.
