just finished looking thru a whole stack of old photos
mostly on my dad's side.
(found my mum's picture admist the dad-relatives so there she is in her 1980's wedding dress)
its so cool to see your parents uncles aunties great grandfathers n mothers when they were young and free albeit a shopping spreeeee

ah they all have drama-worthy soap oprah (shit how to spell) stories to tell..

they once fell in love
they once had no job and a teeney weeny allowance
they once hated school
they once argued with their parents
they once played truant
they once went to parties (and got drunk on old-fashioned alcohol)

ahaha and to think i used to see everyone significantly older than me as old hags with no life. yea, i learn something new everydayy...

i see the roots of my jia ren. i see how i have evolved thru these ancient others.
and i am thankful to have been enlightened through these precious pictures of pasttime.

wheeee. i see my ancestors in heaven lookin' down on good old lala me.
