Are you enough?

The following is an extract:
"Facing my reflection in the mirror, I reached out to touch the glass and beg the streak-free structure for kindness.
Am i enough?
Am i truly enough?
i tilted my head to the left, right, up, then down.
I studied my profile from every aangle I could get my neck to twist.
My eyes, nose, lips, brow, butt, waist, legs, thighs, curves and heart.
Am i enough?
The irony turned me like a rusted knob and i exhaled.
It was a long, deep and drawn breath.
there was nothing but truth staring me in the face
and the truth was as long as there were at least two women breathing,
one would always be prettier.
I could spend my life savings primping and prepping, transforming myself into the personification of walking beauty,
then step outside and Wham!
There she goes, twice as beautiful with half the work. How's that slam back to reality?
There will alwasy be someone more beautiful than me, it will be you
and someone more beautiful than you and it will be her
and even the most beautiful one of us all will be outdone
by a younger and more supple version of herself."

Now for my precious words of wisdom: *smirks ;)
In a society like ours, too many of us become obsessed in the strife for perfection. Women in particular strive constantly to conform to plastic glamorous photo-brushed images of stick-thin gorgeous models, hipbones proudly protruding, cheekbones sharply exalting.
So bring in the botox, eyelid/nose/boob/chin/even calf surgery.
Pump the butt Plump the lips Fill the boobs
Nowadays Men also find it even harder to be HOT because you'l need Washboard abs, Buldgeing pectoral muscles and nice tan broad shoulders.
Bye bye pot belly. Hello six pack.
Gogym Go gym.Pump iron Lift weights
Drown yourself in protein shakes
More muscle more muscle
As beautiful as you want to be, however, there was always be someone less beautiful and more beautiful than you, and as they say, beauty is, afterall, in the eyes of the beholder.
