chocolatte from germany
my cousin from germany arrived last week, it has been some 8 years since i last saw him. he speaks rather good english with a tinge of german accent so it sounds slightly off but nonetheless pleasant to the ear. haha it is gramatically correct and english-sounding i sound like a fussy english teacher and i am going terribly off point.
Chocolate from Germany rocks. this certain brand my uncle used to bring back since we were really young basically i mean my uncle used to buy this brand of chocolate from germany to give to us to eat when we were small. somehow i cant seem to write coherently. anyway he didnt come over that often but whenever he did he brought choclate and haribo gummi bears and clowns and we always looked foreward to his 3-yearly visits (not so much for the uncle but the gummies haa i know we are bad).
Ok so that fulfils the main purpose of this post; that is to speak of fantastic tasting almond-cluttered chocolates from germany.i guess the main reason why i absolutely adore the chocolate is due to the fact that it is extremely nutty. somehow, european versions of chocolate are more generous with erm, nuts. Singapore chocolates are lousy because they are mostly cadbury and you have to bite into the bar of chocolate a fair bit before you find a nut. it is time-consuming and highly annoying because for every 100% of chocolate you only get 10% nut. i eat chocolate for the nuts. why then do u not just buy almond hazle and cashew and eat it on its own, i hear u say. ah then it would be half the fun; chocolate just tastes better with nuts. i like chocolate.
On a side note i have to get balloons for a festival and i havent and its late and my procrastination is driving me slightly crazy. hur.
