my mum and dad went out last night, mum called me halfway thru

mum: what do u want to eat from macdonalds?
my mummy came back and got me what i wanted.
an AU$3.95 cheeseburger happy meal.

i ran outta my room to find my two sisters rumaging thru the brown macdonalds paper bags..
sisters: how come u got happymeal we dont have?
me(removing the happymeal box from their firm jealous grip): i asked u waht. u both said u wanted fries.
sister#1: ya..but i thought we can share
sister#1 proceeds to take a fry from my happymeal box, even tho she has a packet of LARGE fries staring her in the face.

she could have a bit of my cheeseburger, and a sip of the coke, but why steal from my minature packet of fries?

ahh and btw, the happy meal toy was some wind-me-up-and-i-walk-slowly toy, something i didnt really appreciate so i left that one to sister#2 and father who figured it out whilst i chomped hungrily, satisfied with my happymeal set.

Shampoo Deprivation

Free toys remind me of the time when i was 8
when i really liked the smell of kodomo (baby/kids) shampoo
i was at an econ minimart store near my house when i spotted a bottle my beloved shampoo.
i tugged at my mum's sleeve and asked sweetly,

ma, can u buy this shampoo for me?
to which my mum replied,
no lah. i know u only want to get the free gift
this annoying free gift was a retarded looking rabbit soft toy with funny whiskers. not appealing at all.
ma, its the shampoo i want. not the free gift, really. pleaaaaassse
no no. i KNOW u want the free gift. why waste money and buy the shampoo just to get the silly rabbit? you want the stuff toy just go get it somewhere else. dont be impulsive and greedy. dont be so easily seduced by the things of the world. u like the rabbit now but later sure throw away one. NO.
BUT MA...

i walked out of the shop without the kodomo shampoo
there was no way my mum would listen
this was the only time i wanted something not because of the free gift.
