caught mona lisa smile spirited away and along came polly on dvd. all good, not bad.
i didnt use to think kristen dunst was pretty but shes got some appeal lah. pretty pure charming smile kind of look. was also nver into anime, but spirited away, hey! not bad eh. darn interesting show, highly imaginative, a must-watch. along came polly was so darn funny. i thought it was gonna be unfunny but i ended up laughing alot. like how i thought hitch was gonna be real funny, but it was a let-down la. more like forced-funny and very predictable jokes. i like along came polly.

yep... spirited away was really an out of the box experience for me too... not like the usual Hollywood fare of cutesy animation and dumb one-liners... nothing commercial and mass-appeal about it (in fact, don't think there was any merchandising tied in to the movie... unlike say the Nemo toys and Princess dolls you see everywhere)...yet it is charming, and intelligent, insightful and endearing... loved every second of it... good choice!
