the bible says, we listen

The bible is massively made up of male-intepretations of history. Many atimes i wonder how Christianity might have evolved when viewed through a female (as opposed to feminine because i am quite confused and this will do for the moment don't ask me why)perspective.

You see The Da Vinci Code brings up the concept of the Sacred Feminine and how Mary Magdalene was a disciple of Christ. There actually used to be a Gospel of Mary. When i attended Sunday school camps in the past,i always wondered why the group names were always boy names. Then i realised the boy names where gospel names where the writer was always male. Were there no girl-gospel writers? Then i could be in a group with a girl name. How cool. I don't know, but apart from the occassional "Godly" female- Esther, Ruth, Debrorah etc the rest of the women are nameless usually daughters of the son of blah blah made ready to be sold/given away as a possession to a male to bring back to sleep with as his wife. There were also many prostitutes and whores, Mary Magdalene eventually playing victim to the title. Maybe being a bitch was the only way to stand out and be noted amongst the sea of holy, wholesome and pure MEN OF GOD. The bible uses a cookie-cutter. The woman does not fit the shape. Hence we see men write the book we now follow with our hearts and souls. Not that it really matters anyway, the word of God IS the word of God. Why would you bother who wrote it, much less which sex? I don't know, would things have been different then, would the book of Genesis have said, Adam sinned greatly because he ultimately succumbed to the devil, Eve was a holy being brought forth by God to test Adam.

Remember the story of Rachel and Leah, where the father gave Leah away to sleep with that dude who loved Rachel because she was the eldest and not yet married? And Eve being the so called "Original Sin", because she instigated Adam to eat the apple. It was Adam's Call, he accepted it. It was the fault of Adam, not Eve, popular to contrary believe.

"Blame the Woman". It's always easier to say. Therefore some (please note; some, not all) men of islamic faith tell their woman to don themseleves head to toe with black cloth and become a faceless being with no identity because they pose too much of a sinful ungodly temptation to men. "Eve was the downfall of humankind"

so they say.

Maybe its all just a fancy attempt to cover-up and con and lie and put down the worth of womenfolk. That is why education is so paramount. Women in far out-of-reach rural areas probably go through retarded amounts ridicule, cultural, social and economic-al. Ridicule does not mean stones thrown at your face. Subtle ridicule from being made to remain silent while the man of the house speaks, or being forced to have sex without consent. Without education they are robbed of the ability to question. Meek acceptance with authority, and men are in authority.

People of some religions are anti-contraception, so have sex all day long and make babies all day long regardless of whether you have the means to care for them. Only so that the child will end up broken, without home or family, left to wind up on a street with a mal-nourished body to decorate the homeless aisle of beggers. Stupid Ignorant Fools.

Maybe the world was once all-Matriarchal, where Mother Nature ruled, the Goddess Isis and her counterparts took charge. Menustration was something clean not dirty, the power of childbirth was sacred.

I am still in the midst of reading The Da Vinci Code, and whether or not its claims are false, they still provide very stimulating issues to think about. The claim that Mary Magdalene and Jesus Christ were actually married would sound terribly ridiculous, just like how "once upon a time there was a Son of God named Jesus Christ who died and then came back to life again" would sound to a Non-Christian.

It's not the issue in question, but how your mind percieves it. Your mind tells you you listen you accept no questions asked. Is this really what is happening with Christianity, or any other religion for that matter?

We as human beings need hope, Having a God provides us that hope. In a world drowning with Gods, cults and followings, who will emerge victorious?

Look at the way things are now.

It's true that women are better educated these days. We're going to school, allowed into government posts etc... But there's never gonna be equality. I've left my job because of my sexist boss saying "a woman's place is in the home" and then promoting less competent male workers. Women will never win. Our salaries are always gonna be lower, we're probably never gonna head that multi-million dollar project...

We will always belong to someone. That is why our fathers give us away to our husbands. And we take on our husband's family name. Mrs Incredible is Mrs Incredible although she has her own superhero identity. BLAH!

It's a habit, a school of thought that we'll never change. Because it's so deeply rooted in history. like the Bible, as you have mentioned. I totally agree to that. But i wouldn't want everything to change anyway, just most of it. Those little old-fahion acts of chilvary should stay. C'mon, just because we're modern women doesn't mean we don't wanna be treated like women. What would men do to impress women if women did everything men does?

As for the religion bit, i think that mostly, we have free will. Your doubts about whatever teachings (or about anything at all) are simply someone else's point of view. Would a loving God let people suffer because they don't go to church? The only thing that matters, i think is having faith. Then there are some people who are just plain rigid in their religious beliefs. That is their own problem. Personally, i have given up fighting them.

Oh, and The Da Vinci Code is fictional. Just because it is well researched doesn't mean it's true. We're all gonna end up still believing that the reason why we're here is because God put us here and that he sent his son to die on the cross for us, wife or no wife. Afterall, it's usually normal for any religion or government or any leader-follower organization to want to wipe out any discrediting facts. Like Japan, for example. As far as they are concerned, the WWII never happened.
